Welcome to "iš Rugių" – A Legacy of Excellence in German Spitz (Klein) A Royal Heritage The German Spitz is one of Europe’s oldest and most enchanting breeds, descending from the ancient "Stone Age Peat Dogs." Their elegance and intelligence have long captured the hearts of royalty; Queen Charlotte and Queen Victoria were famously devoted to the breed, often seen with these spirited companions in the royal courts. This noble history is reflected in every dog we raise. Our Journey: Two Decades of Passion The story of iš Rugių began in 2004 with our foundation dog—a remarkable pioneer who shared our lives for 16 years. This journey taught us the true essence of the breed: loyalty, wit, and a vibrant spirit. Today, we continue this legacy with the same dedication that started it all twenty years ago. Champions Across Borders Quality is the cornerstone of our breeding program. Our dogs are champions in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Belarus, and Russia. Many have earned the prestigious Baltic Champion title and the elite C.I.B. (Champion International de Beauté) status. Health and Documentation as Our Priority We believe that a beautiful dog must first be a healthy and officially recognized one. All our breeding dogs undergo rigorous DNA Testing and Patella Evaluations. To ensure a smooth transition to their new families, all our puppies come with: Official FCI/LKD Pedigree Documents: Guaranteeing the purity of the breed and their champion lineage. EU Pet Passport: Including all necessary vaccinations and microchip information, making them ready for international travel.
